My name is Jackie and I am a License Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan. I work with Plymouth Mental Health to provide therapeutic mental health services.

EXPERIENCE
I received my Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Michigan-Flint and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor where I specialized in interpersonal practice in health, mental health, and substance abuse.

I have experience working in various settings including high school and university environments, emergency departments, and working with crisis intervention. I have worked with clients facing the challenges of COVID-19, through life transitions, with young athletes, in nursing care with those experiencing grief and loss, and across the spectrum of mental health crisis intervention.

What to expect during your first session
Your first session with me will be different from future visits. The initial visit is a period for us to get to know each other and get an idea of how to proceed. Future visits will be more therapeutic in nature. Building a healthy therapeutic relationship is important to me.
